Once again the deadline, 15th April, for submission of BN EC Election Nominations has now passed.
Below you will see the official list of candidates - those whose
election nominations have
been submitted, received and found to be valid. The list was confirmed
today (20 April) by Tracey Major, BN General Secretary and copied to
current EC members.
'Pro-change' candidates' Election Addresses - those who want to see a
better, more effective, more representative British Naturism for all
members - will all appear shortly. Others are also invited to submit their EAs
for publication here.
British Naturism Executive Council Elections
The Executive Council positions being decided this year and the
confirmd candidates, are as follows (incumbents are
shown in brackets):
National Officers:
President - Pat Thompson (Pat Thompson)
Vice Chairman - Derek Brixey, Richard Collins (Derek Brixley)
International Officer - Paul Kirby, Mike O'Neill (Paul Kirby)
Treasurer - Richard Daniels, Stuart Troughton (Chris Beesley-Reynolds)
Youth Officer - No Candidates (Ben Rose)
Regional Representatives:
KSER - Reg Barlow, Steve Doerr (Tony Crittenden)
Midland - Angela Russell (Angela Russell)
South West - Richard Morris, Stuart Troughton (Richard Morris)
Yorkshire - No Candidates (Derek Denny)
About the election
Each year British Naturism holds a postal ballot of its members to
decide the officers and representatives of the managing Executive
Council.
Voting papers are sent out in June with the summer edition of 'BN' magazine to all members, including those who join before
June's mailing list is compiled. If you're not already a member and want to see BN change for the better, please click here
to find out more and join online! Membership only costs £22 for single
adults and £30 for couples (concessions apply - please see website for
details).
Voting is by postal ballot - all members need do is mark an
'X' in the appropriate boxes and post the ballot paper in the pre-paid
envelope to arrive before 31st July 2005. The results will be announced at the AGM on Sunday 23rd October.
