Aspirations:
|
Continue the work of BN's Commercial Manager to further broaden naturist lifestyle appeal by dispelling 'myths' - naturism is about fun, freedom, acceptance, health and
wellbeing; not secrecy, restrictive practices or ghettos!
- Promote BN as an influential national representative organisation for all naturists.
- Ensure members' ideas and aspirations receive approprate support.
- Increase appeal to young naturists.
Ensure BN leads in promoting naturism for the public benefit; through
broader representation, open communication, and delivering tangible
member benefits.
- Reassess management and organization.
- Cultivate contemporary efficient working practices.
- Accelerate decision making.
- Boost membership appeal.
Realize increasing public approval through promotion of 'nude-acceptance'; champion ECHR 'convention rights' for all!
- Encourage promotion of all beaches as 'clothing-optional'.
- Discourage over-regulation; end 'costumes compulsory' requirements in health suites.
- Encourage more provision of naturist swims/saunas by Local Authorities/leisure management.
Build on the improvements to 'BN' magazine: more news, letters, editorial to encourage more events and activities; reflected by a website that leads the way with detailed guides, holiday info, and members' forums.
- Develop members' ezine.
- Ensure benefit of working with publishers and commercial organisations is maximised.
Promote Britain as a naturist holiday destination and develop clubs into 'world-class' leisure facilities.
- Comprehensive review of clubs and facilities.
- Help secure European Development Grants and Lottery Funds.
As Vice-Chairman, and working to an agreed job description, I will
expedite sound ideas and policies to harness the talent that exists
within the organisation.
Public acceptance is at an all time high, we need to capitalise on the and benefit from a full internet presence.
Encouraging youth is paramount to future growth and through 'Sport for All' gives added purpose and credibility to our already widely accepted lifestyle.
